Sweet Potato Pudding

Butter a 9" x 13" pan.  Heat oven to 350 degrees

4 cups shredded sweet potatoes
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix together in pan.  Dot with butter.  Bake for 1 and 1/2 hours.  I always add a "smidge" of rum.
