Mashed Potato Bake

1 1/3 cup french fried onions
3 cups hot mashed potatoes
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Mix mashed potatoes, sour cream, milk, and garlic powder in a large
bowl. Spoon 1/2 mixture in 2 quart baking dish. Sprinkle
with 2/3 cup of onions and 1/2 cup of cheese. Top with remaining
potato mixture. Bake 30 minutes until hot. Top with
remaining onions and cheese. Bake 5 minutes until onions are
golden. Makes 6 servings.
Tip – use leftovers or prepared instant mashed potatoes.
